I’m not religious, although I do have my own working understanding about God. I read the entire Bible this year cover to cover out of curiosity, and I really have enjoyed embodying certain parts and contemplating the symbolism.
Jesus tells satan to get behind him, and I’ve been doing the same any time an unwanted thought comes up. As soon as I notice any nasty or negative or self-doubting thought that erupts like some gnarled vine in my mind, I’ve been saying to myself, “No, get behind me.”
I really like it - it helps me stay focused on what is better, more loving, and noble - to prune the garden of my mind, and stay in that clearer state of consciousness.
Just my random Monday thoughts for ya ☺️👐🏽
