🍟 Gnocchis a la plancha: sin cocer los gnocchis (120gr), derrito 10gr de mantequilla y llevo los gnocchis a dorar con orégano. Cuando están a mi gusto los saco y a disfrutar!

➰ Velouté de potimarron et lentilles corail au curry ➰

Je déclare la saison des soupes ouvertes. J’aurai pu attendre le 1er octobre, mais non 🙈. Mon potimarron me narguait trop !

La recette est hyper simple, et c’est l’une de mes recettes de soupe chouchou ! Il vous faut :
- 1 potimarron - 50 gr de lentilles corail
- 1 cube de légume - 200 ml de lait de coco
- 450 ml d’eau
- 1 oignon
- 3 gousses d’ail
- 1 CS de curry - Sel et Poivre
- Topping : sésame, croûtons, persil, lait de coco, graines de courge

Éplucher votre potimarron et le couper en cubes. Peler vos gousses d’ail et votre oignon et hacher le tout.
Dans une cocotte ou dans votre robot, déposer l’ensemble des ingrédients et laisser cuire à deux doux pendant une trentaine de minutes. À la fin de la cuisson, mixer. Le mélange doit être assez crémeux et épais. Rectifier le sel et le poivre. 
Verser dans des bols. J’ai ajouté de mon côté  un filet de lait de coco, un peu de croûton à l’ail, du sésames torréfiées, des graines de courge et du persil !

This is a question I get asked quite a bit ➡️ "when should I do cardio? Before or after weights?". Now, unless you're a marathon runner and the goal is to build cardiovascular endurance, 9/10 times, the answer is always either after strength training or on a seperate day. The reason for this is because for most people, the goal is to build strength, muscle mass, overall fitness, and be lean in which case, I like to prioritize strength training. You have to tackle your strength training head on with intensity to create enough of a stimulus to force growth and gain. If you do cardio beforehand (aside from a cardiovascular warm-up which is different and I strongly encourage you to warm up properly), you unfortunately are taxing yourself and using a lot of that stored glycogen that needs to be used for your strength training. If you're goal is to do 5x5 today for deadlifts, doing that after a cardio session, especially a HIIT session, will definitely be a struggle especially if the goal was to lift heavier than last session. To be honest, the ideal situation is to do cardio on different/opposing days to strength training. With that being said, another thing you could do, depending on the cardio, is lower intensity cardio in the morning (e.g. a fasted walk) and then strength training in the evening after you've fed your body throughout the day. Quantas pessoas vocês conhecem que relatam ser intolerantes à lactose? 
Segundo um estudo do JAMA, aproximadamente 64-75% da população mundial apresenta essa condição. 
Sintomas como flatulência, distensão abdominal, desconforto abdominal e diarreia são os sintomas mais comuns. 
Quando crianças precisamos do leite materno, que contém lactose como fonte de alimentação primária. E ao longo dos anos, o leite não é mais a nossa fonte de alimentação primária, então perdemos as enzimas que digerem à lactose, as lactases. Segundo esse mesmo artigo do JAMA, apenas 5-10% da lactase está ativa na vida adulta. 
Como à lactose não é digerida, as bactérias fermentam à lactose levando a um desequilibro osmótico e consequente sintomas.

Have you ever tried making #vegan Tofu Feta? 🌿 It’s the easiest thing ever and such a delicious addition to any salad! 🥗😍🔥 Possibly my new favorite quick and easy staple recipe to always have on hand! 🤤 Full recipe below⇣
—•—Ingredients—•—
200g tofu
1/2 cup water
1 tsp miso paste
2 Tbsp olive oil
3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 Tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp oregano
1/2 tsp salt
—•—Method—•—
1. Drain and rinse your tofu block and place it between a number of folded paper towels. Place something heavy on top (like books) and let it sit for at least 1 hour, then dice it.
2. Prepare your marinade by whisking all remaining ingredients together.
3. Place the tofu cubes in an airtight jar, add the marinade, close the jar and gently shake for a few seconds to make sure the tofu is well covered.
4. Place in the fridge for at least 3-4 hours (better overnight).

Knowing how busy my week is going to be, making time to plan, grocery shop, and meal prep is super important to me. I used to be that person who “never had time” to get things done. But if you want it bad enough, you’ll make time for it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I definitely wanted to hit snooze yesterday especially when I’m up at 3:30am 4-5 times a week, but I knew if I wanted to be set up for success this week, I had to get my booty out of bed.  So I drugged hubs to @wholefoods to get a few things that I couldn’t get at the farmers market. Mostly #fruits, #veggies, + #protein. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I started a little prep before work and finished a little after. But I slept like an angel knowing I had set myself up for success for the weeks to finish this @whole30 strong!

Ever tried Zucchini Pancakes? They make a great pre-workou meal:
Grate the zucchini into a bowl using the large grating side of a box grater. Immediately stir in the onion and eggs. Stir in 6 tablespoons of the flour, the baking powder, salt, and pepper. (If the batter gets too thin from the liquid in the zucchini, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of flour.)
Heat a large (10 to 12-inch) saute pan over medium heat and melt 1/2 tablespoon butter and 1/2 tablespoon oil together in the pan. When the butter is hot but not smoking, lower the heat to medium-low and drop heaping soup spoons of batter into the pan. Cook the pancakes about 2 minutes on each side, until browned. Place the pancakes on a sheet pan and keep warm in the oven. Wipe out the pan with a dry paper towel, add more butter and oil to the pan, and continue to fry the pancakes until all the batter is used. The pancakes can stay warm in the oven for up to 30 minutes. 1/2 large head cauliflower, cut into small florets (about 4 cups)
7 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, plus more for topping
Kosher salt
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 14-ounce can whole peeled tomatoes, crushed by hand
1/2 cup fresh parsley, roughly chopped
1/3 cup pitted kalamata olives, roughly chopped
1 tablespoon capers, rinsed
Finely grated zest of 1 lemon, plus 2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 pound refrigerated pizza dough, at room temperature
4 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Recipe:
Prepare cauliflower dough and transfer it to a pizza peel or another inverted baking sheet. Spread the tomato sauce all over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
